Meet the founder
Angelique Julien is a fashion designer and pattern maker with nearly two decades of experience working for established and emerging clothing labels. After graduating from the Fashion Institute of Technology, Angelique gained made to measure and custom experience in the atelier of Selia Yang Bridal, and honed her patternmaking skills working in the atelier of Nicolas Caito, a premier patternmaker from the luxury houses of Paris.
In 2014, she founded her clothing label, theTEN to address the industry's human rights and environmental impact issues. Shortly thereafter, theTEN Atelier was launched when outside designers requested assistance with the development of their collections.
She cares passionately about how clothing is made and is dedicated to further perfecting her craft with each project.
Our studio
The team works and collaborates in our studio in the heart of Chelsea. Our multidisciplinary team brings together an array of experience in traditional draping and hand patterning, alongside digital pattern making and avatar fitting technology. With decades of experience, our sample makers bring the visions to life.
